This project highlights the use of local resources and skills to achieve global recognition. India produces approximately 77% of the world’s jaggery, with Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) and Kolhapur (Maharashtra) contributing more than 50% of the total production. Through this initiative, women have been provided with entrepreneurial opportunities, such as processing, packaging, and job distribution, creating sustainable employment.
